Organising records after suspected fraud
Build a chronology
Record when contact started, what was offered, when payments occurred and when problems emerged. Mark approximate dates honestly. Keep original messages and files separately from your notes.
Identify the exact recipient
Save complete domains, profile paths, payment instructions and transaction hashes. Do not replace missing addresses with a guessed domain based on a name.
Share proportionately
Start with relevant records. Exclude wallet secrets, passwords, unrelated personal information and unnecessary identity documents. Ask about the handling process before transferring sensitive material.
Your next step
Request a case reviewPut the evidence to work.
Tell us what happened. We will assess the records and the appropriate route forward.
